Alisa Jacobson is part winemaker- part environmental activist! She is dedicated to “turning the tides” of the wine industry towards more sustainable practices like using lighter and recycled glass dry-farming eliminating harmful herbicides and pesticides even using recycled paper and compostable ink for the labels! Not to mention she makes beautiful refreshing wines like this blend of Chenin Blanc and Verdelho a native grape to the island of Madeira that loves the warm dry climate.
