Absolutely stunning! We are thrilled to finally be able to offer the wines of Perkins Harter in CT as Shelby Perkins has been making soulful, vibrantly expressive wines since 2018 when we were first introduced to them. The Bracken Vineyard was the first planted in 2016, but after a massive vole attack, much was replanted in 2020. The fact that such young vines can already show such character and sense of place is a testament to the excellent farming they’re doing, avoiding all synthetic chemicals and even avoiding using plastics in the vineyard so that they cannot break down and leach into the soil. If you can, drink some now and put a few away as this should age beautifully!
