Natalie Siddique and Ryan Pace- the founders and winemakers have traveled the wine regions of the world and Ryan who grew up in a winemaking family spent 7 years working for the Byron Winery. They started Outward Wines in 2016 as a side project but as of 2020 this is their full-time focus. These wines showcase the best of the California Coast but the global inspiration is clear from the very first sip. They are working with a handful of ecologically farmed vineyards all close to the Pacific and benefitting from that cool ocean influence. The ‘Cat Canyon’ Chenin is vibrant and full flavored but not at all heavy. Perfect to pair with a variety of cheeses pork dishes or roasted squash!
