This is a great Chardonnay that defies the CA stereotype. The fruit comes from a selection of Sonoma vineyards all farmed sustainably. It is vinified in stainless steel with a small portion in neutral French oak for 6 months. This gives us the best of both worlds- the freshness from the steel tanks and the roundness from the old barrels. Notes of fresh green and yellow apple kumquat crushed chalk and jasmine.
