Halter Ranch is situated on the Western-most edge of Paso Robles with only 10% of their 2,700 acres used for farming, the rest left to nature’s own devices. In addition to growing grapes they also grown walnuts and olives, all of which are certified organic farming. On top of this, the winery is completely solar powered, and all of the water used comes from their custom rainwater catching system. This white is a blend of 79% Grenache Blanc, 12% Picpoul Blanc, and 9% Viognier fermented and aged in neutral barrels for 8 months on the lies to to balance the fresh acidity with a touch of delicate creaminess on the finish.
