Gundlach Bundschu is one of the oldest wineries still operating in California, having started in the 1870’s! Recently they underwent the incredibly strict certification process to become on the first certified Regenerative Organic farms in the US. These guidelines look not just at the farming practices and whether they rebuild life into the soil, but also at the treatment of their workers, animals, and community! This Gewurztraminer is actually bone-dry and pleasantly floral; not at all the ‘Grandma’s Potpourri’ you might be familiar with. Lean, fresh, wild flowers; great pairing for thai food or something spicy!
