Gundlach Bundschu is one of the oldest wineries still operating in California, having started in the 1870’s! Recently they underwent the incredibly strict certification process to become on the first certified Regenerative Organic farms in the US. These guidelines look not just at the farming practices and whether they rebuild life into the soil, but also at the treatment of their workers, animals, and community! This classic Sonoma Chardonnay comes from their estate vineyard which borders Carneros where the climate is a bit cooler, and the wine ferments and ages in 20% new French oak.
