Fossil & Fawn is made by an impossibly nice couple in the Willamette Valley whose tagline is “Odd & Yummy.” This bottling is a blend from all of the vineyards that they work with; No Clos Radio (Tualatin Hills AVA); Silvershot Vineyards (Eola-Amity Hills AVA), and Finnigan Hill Vineyard (Chehalem Mountains AVA), fermented naturally, and aged in mostly neutral oak barrels. Soft, elegant, creamy Meyer lemon and not at all ‘oaky’ or ‘buttery’.
