Brianne Day is as bright and shiny as her name suggests. Even at a young age, she’s a leader in the Willamette wine scene and helps other budding winemakers get their start by making their own wines in her facility. ‘Vin de Days l’Orange’ is a fun, fresh, aromatic blend of Muller-Thurgau, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Gris left on the skins for a few weeks until the wine was fermented completely dry. This extraction created a delicate coppery-orange color and gentle, but persistent tannins. Because of the nice structure on this wine, we like to serve this like a chilled red; cool, but not right-out-of-the-fridge cold like a regular white wine. Try this with Moroccan tagine, aged cheddars, or green curies.
