Partners Corinne Rich and Katie Rouse fell in love with wine and then each other before starting Birdhorse Wines to celebrate diversity of people, terroir, and grape varieties like this unique Verdelho from the Evina Vineyard from Contra Costa. The wine ages for 4 months in a combination of steel, and neutral barrels after being “hyper-oxidixed” which gives the wines a lovely creamy softness balancing the fresh, citrusy quality. A great wine for spring!
