Truly high elevation (over 2-400ft!) in a small lesser known part of Rioja the Iregua Valley abudant with limestone soils. This elegant white Rioja is a blend of 80% Viura and 20% Malvasia fermented over 4 months in oak barrels then aged in lightly toasted 2nd use French oak barrels giving this wine a softness around the edges but with freshness and a beautiful powdery mineral quality from the limestone that shines through.
