Ginny Poval moved to South Africa and planted the beautiful Protea Heights Farm in 2009 with a commitment to not only organic- but regenerative agriculture and fair labor practices; both of which can be hard to come by in this region. This estate is home to twice as many hectares of native protea flowers planted as it has vines! They practice no-tilling which means the soil is never broken up allowing the roots and microorganisms to thrive and keep the vines healthy. This bright refreshing Albarino has notes of lime zest and wild flower with a crisp salty finish. All fermented with native yeasts and very low additions of sulfur. Try this with lighter dishes fish tacos and crunchy salads!
