Erno Sagmeister is a true leader of the natural wine movement in Serbia. His wines are made with balance and finesse, perfectly clean despite using minimal sulfites and no other additives. His vineyards on the south-facing slope of the Fruska-Gora mountains between the Danube and Sava rivers and all the farming is organic with some biodynamic practices. This is one of the richest, most expressive examples of Furmint (more recognizable from the sweet wine Tokaji made in Hungary), fermented perfectly dry but with beautiful ripe fruit and plenty of freshness and salinity.
