The Pato family was actually the first to bottle their wine under the Bairrada appellation when it was created in 1970, though today they have decided to be designated by the region in order to follow their own traditions. This very old vines cuvée comes from two plots with 50% Bical grown on chalky-clay soil, 25% Cerceal, and 25% Sercialinho from sandy soil fermented and aged in stainless steel. The wine is fresh, ripe lemon zest, with a long, textural finish. Perfect with grilled  or tinned fish!
