It is incredibly rare to a single variety bottling of Antão Vaz- let alone from ~70 year old vines that are treated with such care. This is the oldest vineyard of the Rocim estate affectionately names after this Olho de Mocho flower that grows abundantly throughout. The wine is fermented in cement tanks before aging in 500L French oak barrels for 9 months to give it richness and roundness on the palate without overwhelming with oak flavor. This wine is fresh and structured now but will age gracefully for many years to come.
