German brothers, Daniel and Jonas are the fifth generation of the Brand family to manage the estate in the village of Bockenheim in the Pfalz. They are committed to great, ecological farming and their philosophy is dependent on having beautiful fruit from a healthy vineyard so that they can avoid any additives or filtration in the cellar. The ‘Haus Weiss’ is a blend of Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) and Silvaner both grown on loamy soil. Pull this out if you’re making fried chicken, or more specifically, schnitzel, and of course bratwurst!
