Schlossgut Diel began making wine in the Nahe back in 1802 and still run by the same family- currently led by Caroline Diel who spent time working with Ruinart and DRC before returning to the family business. The ‘Nahesteiner Kabinett’ is blended from several of their vineyards which are grown on a range of soil types giving this regional cuvée a lot of complexity for the price. Really pretty on the nose bright juicy peach and meyer lemon delightfully off-dry on the finish.
