Because of devastating frost- Chidaine started creating this limited cuvée by blending fruit from his multiple vineyards in Vouvray and Montlouis which typically only ever go into single-vineyard bottlings. Chidaine is one of the true greats of the Loire valley with imepacable thoughtful farming and a gentle hand in the cellar which leads to elegant crystalline Chenin that has a lot to say.
