Savagnin- the ancient grape of the Jura from two of the best plots in the region: ‘Au Barby’ and ‘Grand Curoulet’. The wine ferments in old barrels and then ages for 10 months in neutral oak. When the great Burgundian winemaker of Marquis d’Angerville tasted blind the wines of the Jura he was convinced to work with fruit from this area so this is also a great opportunity to taste this excellent winemaking for half the price of one of his bottles from Burgundy.
