Though this is undoubtedly an island wine- the Clos Venturi vineyards are set high up on a sandstone hill surrounded by forest and is in fact the only vineyard in the center of the island. Manu Venturi who is now at the helm builds upon his father’s legacy by going above and beyond their organic practices. They now incorporate a variety of livestock are certified biodynamic and encourage a large swath of local flora. The ‘Brama’ is 100% Bianco Gentile a native variety to the island fermented in concrete eggs and then aged 8 months in steel tanks.
