This is a great introduction to the wines of Austria! The most planted grape there is Gruner Veltliner and traditionally makes refreshing- dry whites with a touch of herbaceousness like this one. The name ‘Am Berg’ means ‘on the mountain; and refers to the high elevation and steep slopes the vines are planted on. They farm and harvest everything by hand using biodynamic pracites. Light in texture and very fresh this is classic Gruner Veltliner from loess soils in Feuersbrunn. Savory and saline!
