Thomas Jullien comes from a multi-generation winemaking family in the picturesque village of Ventoux in the Southern Rhone valley. Though he now works mainly in the cellar he has developed a close partnership with family friend and farmer Pierre Marin who practices organic and biodynamic farming for all the vineyards used in his lineup of wines. Thomas has worked hard to showcase Pierre’s hard work by taking meticulous care in the cellar and avoids using any additives (or any filtering) in the cellar; a true expression of place. This rosé of 70% Grenache- 20% Cinsault 10% Syrah is as the name suggest bursting with the scent of rose water and juicy cherry. As this is more full-bodied than the traditional Provence rosé it may not be for the poolside but it will be an excellent pairing for braised chicken with lemon and capers or fish tacos.
