Scribe Winery in Sonoma produces vibrant, terroir-driven wines. The winery–founded in 2007 on a property that pioneered pre-prohibition Sonoma Valley winemaking–is managed by fourth-generation California farmers and brothers, Andrew and Adam Mariani. Unlike many winemakers, the Scribe rosé is more than just an afterthought for underripe or even leftover fruit; this is a deliberately made wine from specific plots, all of their own estate, that have just the right balance of acidity and aromatics. This vintage the fruit was from a plot of Huichica loam, unique to this part of the world! The wine ferments and rests in stainless steel to preserve its crisp, delicate freshness with notes of white peach and touch of sea salt.
