Castel Juval sits on top of an impossibly steep, high-altitude cliff in Alto Adige and is consistently recognized as one of the most dangerous vineyards! We fell for this complex, charming rosé of Pinot Nero (aka Pinot Noir) because it feels decidedly more like a very light red and less like a rosé making it a great wine all year and perfect with anything you’d reach for a bottle of Burgundy with. Ripe, fresh cherries, sprinkled with baking spice, and a touch of earthy, herbal notes. We are the sole carriers of this tiny production in CT!
