Not only utilizing Biodynamic practices, but no irrigation, and active regenerative farming are the cornerstone of Aphros, which is incredibly difficult in this muggy region of Portugal. The cellar is similarly conscious of their impact and uses very little electricity, instead depending on gravity and no temperature control. Despite this rusticity, the wines are incredibly clean, fresh, and vibrant. This 100% Loureiro, native to the region, spends several weeks on the skin giving it a rich texture and deep orange color.
