Zagreus is nestled in the Thracian Valley of Bulgaria between the mountains and the Adriatic sea. Founded in 2003 by 3rd generation winemaker Dimitar Kostadinov who converted the family vines to organic and dry-farming, with low-intervention wine-making practices. ‘Pamid +’ is 70% native grape Pamid with the remainder Merlot made to be fresh, juicy, chillable and a lot of fun to drink. This unfiltered style gives it a little more body than some of the super light reds we’ve been drinking over the summer making it perfect for the transition to fall. Notes of fresh, crunchy red apple, bing cherry, and a touch of fresh thyme.
