We are big fans of the Stolpman Vineyards for their consistently tasty- well-balanced wines and even bigger fans of their sustainable approach not just to how they farm but also how they have supported the community and given oppportunites to their vineyard workers. The ‘Crunchy-Roastie’ is modeled after the wines of Cote-Rotie by using their traditional blend of Syrah with Viognier which gives it extra aromatics and weight. The grapes ferment carbonically making this wine super fresh and fruity. I love this wine slightly chilled and pared with grilled lamp chops or grilled vegetables. Notes of fresh red and purple plum lavender fresh herbs and black cherry concentrated flavor with great acidity.
