Robert Sinskey Vineyards feels decidedly anti-establishment. When everyone else was focused on making “points-worthy” wines, he was focused on supporting the environment and the soil health of his vineyards above all else, and from there, doing as little as possible in the winemaking process to respect the beautiful fruit that had been grown. The ‘POV’ is the calling card of Sinskey wines showcasing the high quality of fruit they’re growing with ripe, lucious fruit, but so much freshness, and a distinct lack of ‘oakiness’. This Bordeaux blend is reminiscent of its French origins, with a brightness, a sunniness that can only be from California.
