This is what I call- a joyful wine just a pleasure to drink. Bright wild cherry tart cranberry fresh soil button mushroom all nicely integrated with just enough body to give the wine juiciness without being a “fruity” wine. Fossil & Fawn is made by an impossibly nice couple in the Willamette Valley whose tagline is “Odd & Yummy.” This bottling is a blend from all of the vineyards that they work with; No Clos Radio (Tualatin Hills AVA); Silvershot Vineyards (Eola-Amity Hills AVA) and Finnigan Hill Vineyard (Chehalem Mountains AVA) fermented naturally and aged in mostly neutral oak barrels.
