Chamisal is situated in what is now the Edna Valley AVA which sits right along the Pacific in the Central Coast. Their coastal location means they have a long, relatively cool growing season keeping their fruit fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The grapes go through carbonic maceration and then aging in a mixture of steel tanks and neutral barrels. Bright, juicy cherry notes with a touch of spice on the finish.
