Chamisal is situated in what is now the Edna Valley AVA which sits right along the Pacific in the Central Coast. Their coastal location means they have a long- relatively cool growing season keeping their fruit fresh vibrant and full of flavor. The grapes go through carbonic maceration and then aging in a mixture of steel tanks and neutral barrels. Bright juicy cherry notes with a touch of spice on the finish. –
