Envinate is made up of four friends who met studying winegrowing together and their focus became on indigenous varieties from coastal regions including in and around Ribiera Sacra and the Canary Islands. The ‘Lousas Vina de Aldea’ is a blend of mostly Mencia with the remainder a mix of red and white grape. The wine ferments in concrete tanks and then ages in 80% older French oak and 20% concrete for 11 months before bottling. Medium-bodied, dark and savory with dusty tannins.
