This family run Rioja bodega has been lovingly tended by the Carcar family since 1723! Today they are certified organic- and still making delicious expressive wines at an incredible value. This Reserva from 2008 is 100% Tempranillo grown on predominantly clay and alluvial soils all harvested by hand. The wine is fermented in steel with native yeasts and then aged for 18 months in 1 year old barrels then a further 12 months in bottle before release.
