A great summer red- the Natte Vallej Cinsault is light peppery and drinks nicely just a little chilled with any BBQ or burgers. Alexander Millner is the 3rd generation of winemakers from his family for the Natte Vallej estate and his focus has been on finding and restoring old often abandoned vineyards like the up to 50 year old bush vines of Cinsault that go into this wine. The fruit ferments naturally and is then aged for one year in a combination of concrete eggs and various sized older barrels to give the wine soft delicate tannins.
