Powerhouse winemaker/innkeeper/restaurant owner Gaia Cerrito planted her own vineyards 20+ years ago and farms them organically. The ‘Brumaio’ is 100% Sangiovese grown on clay soils overlooking the Mediterranean. The wine spends 6 months in steel tanks and 3 months in bottle before release. Fresh raspberry, fresh herbs, with soft tongue-coating tannins. Will be a lovely accompaniment to porchetta, and other herb-covered proteins.
