Though ‘Giugi’ Sesti grew up in a winegrowing family, he never thought he would follow in the family footsteps. After meeting his wife in Wales and having three children, he moved the family back to Tuscany to take over the family vines and today their daughter Elisa is managing the operation. They are dedicated to ecological farming, though not certified, with biodynamic practices. Their classic Brunello spends 39 months in giant oak botti, followed by one year in bottle before release.
