Speri is a 7th generation family-run organic estate on sloping hillsides with old-school pergola trained vines. Their Valpolicella Classico Superiore comes from a single vineyard and the grapes are dried for 25 days before pressing. Fermented in steel then aged 2 years in French oak with an additional 6 months in bottle before release. The wine shows beautiful dried fruit on the nose, dried italian herbs and plush, velvety fruit on the palate.
