This bottling of Langhe Nebbiolo comes from a sandy plot just outside Barbaresco which gives the fruit great concentration. The fruit spends a short time on the skins so as not to extract too much tannin for short-term drinking and then ages in large botte. This is a great balance of structure and ease, with velvety tannin and fully ripe fruit; exactly what you want from a great Langhe.
