Beautifully aromatic- single-vineyard expression from a relatively new winery in Serralunga d’Alba currently in the very capable hands of Giovanna Garesio. The Gianetto vineyard is east-facing which in the current warming climate is becoming such a benefit to keeping the fruit balanced. It also benefits from the limestone soil found here that give this wine lift and lovely powdery gentle tannins. Notes of fresh cherry dried rose petals all-spice and oregano.
