This is rare and unique wine. Fabio Gea is certainly “marching to the beat of his own drum” as they say and is keen to experiment in the cellar. For this fascinating example of Dolcetto- he ferments and ages the wine in glass demijohns and then finishes it in porcelain. This wine is dark earthy and ferrous but with ripe sapid raspberry and balsamic giving it tension and deliciousness. Only 416 cases made.
