This northern Piemonte region may not have the name recognition today of its southern neighbors in Barolo and Barbaresco- but they have been making top-quality wine in this region for centuries longer. Predominantly Nebbiolo with up to 10% Vespolina as is traditional in this area.The wine rests at least 24 months in large barrels then at least 1 year in bottle before release. Very pretty nose bright red fruits rose petals vibrant acidity on the palate with weight and texture that builds the longer it’s opened.
