Now in their 4th generation- the Oberto family has been ahead of the crowd since the 1980’s when they converted all their land to organic farming but today have managed to power their estate almost entirely with solar power and collect as much rain water as they can to avoid irrigation. The result is beautiful expressive wines that show both the power of Barolo and finesse. 2016 was a banner year for Piedmont it’s a real treat that there is still wine available from this vintage!
