The Bea family has been farming the land of Montefalco since 1500! Today the family still runs a polycultural estate with grapevines, olive trees, produce, and a variety of farm animals. Everything here is still done very simply, without any chemicals in the vineyard, harvest by hand, and minimal intervention in the cellar. This cuvée is a blend of 75% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino, 15% Montepulciano. The wine spends 2 years in stainless steel and 2 years in old foudre. Chocolate covered cherries! Sapid, concentrated fruit, dusty tannins, all-spice. Great for a cozy, winter night!
