The Du Cropio estate sits on the Eastern coast of Calabria facing Greece in the distance- from which their “native grapes” were brought over 3000 years ago. The Ippolito family has farmed this site for many generations and has now certified the entire site as organic. The ‘Serra Sanguina’ is named for a prized section of the Ciro appellation with vineyards on rolling hillsides overlooking the gulf. The blend is 70% Gaglioppo 15% Malvasia Nera and 15% Greco Nero. Rich full-bodied and savory with gentle tannins.
