The Chevrot family has been making wine in the lesser-known village of Maranges, the southernmost village of the Cotes de Beaune, since 1830. ‘Sur la Chene’ is a south-facing plot with limestone and gravel soil. Bright, expressive, with soft, easy-going tannins.
