This was such a surprise when I first tasted it! Cabernet Franc is an uncommon variety in Mendoza- but the Catena family does an excellent job. This comes from high-elevation mountainous vineyards and displays lush ripe but not jammy red plum and raspberry with just a hint of roasted pepper.
