Biodynamic Pfalz estate making a super fun sparkler, affectionately named “Vin de Soda” as a play on the French ‘Vin de Soif’ referring to a gulpable, easy-going style. Current winemaker, Gabriel Scheurmann took over the estate with his brother at the age of 16! They quickly converted everything to organic farming and starting making bright, expressive, low-intervention wines. Notes of lime, crunchy peach, and green apple, with a little wet stones and fresh flowers. Delicate bubbles, slightly less effervescent than your typical sparkling wine. This is the ultimate summer time aperitif on the patio. Great with crudité, fresh cheeses, and sushi!
