Timorasso is a now rare planting in Piedmont where it was once more abundant than Cortese- and even more unusual to be made into this delightful sparkler! Ezio Poggio is one of the few winegrowers leading a resurgence of this noble variety. There’s a lovely leesy quality and a creaminess to this pet-nat that reminds me of high-quality Cava with a refreshing dry and a touch salty finish. Definitely a wine to share with friends!
