Maxime Ponson- owner and winemaker of Champagne Ponson makes wines that are unique as he has strong belief in Pinot Meunier. His Champagne “La Petite Montagne” a 1er Cru Extra Brut Champagne is made with 40% Pinot Meunier (35% Chardonnay 25% Pinot Noir) which is a fairly high percentage in the cepage although of course in the Montagne de Reims winegrowing district Pinot Meunier is a regional focus. –
