From a small family run estate since 1936, farming everything biodynamically. This 11 year old Champagne is still fresh as a daisy, with just a little extra nuttiness on the palate. The blend here is from the villages of Cuisles, Chatillon sur Marne, Serzy, and Mareuil le Port with 50% Chardonnay, 20% Meunier, and 30% Pinot Noir. The wine ages in 30% barrel, 70% stainless steel for 4 years on the lees before it is transferred to bottles for the second fermentation. This batch remained in bottle for 5 years before being disgorged! Both delicate and creamy, with tiny bubbles, and a gently chalky finish.
